Is Samarata's programme really claimable under HRD Corp?
We run wellness and resilience courses under HRD Corp-eligible categories (mental health, stress management, ergonomics). However, approval is not automatic — your organisation must submit a grant application via HRD Corp's e-TRiS portal before the training date, and approval depends on your levy balance, compliance status, and the scheme applied for. We are pursuing HRD Corp registration ([HRD CORP REG NO — to be confirmed]) and recommend verifying your eligibility directly with HRD Corp.
We do not make absolute guarantees of claimability. Outcomes depend on HRD Corp's review process and your organisation's account status.
How does the HRD Corp claim process work in practice?
Your company submits a grant application via the HRD Corp e-TRiS portal before the training date. Once approved, the eligible training cost is deducted from your levy account rather than paid out of pocket. We provide all supporting documentation — course outlines, trainer credentials, attendance records, and e-invoices — so your HR team can complete the submission. The grant application itself must be submitted by an authorised representative from your organisation.
What if our company has fewer than 10 Malaysian employees?
Companies with fewer than 10 Malaysian employees are generally not mandated to contribute to HRD Corp and typically cannot submit claims under the SBL-Khas scheme. However, our standard membership tiers are available regardless of HRD Corp status — the monthly wellness sessions, dedicated coordinator, and quarterly reports are yours either way.
Do you handle the HRD Corp grant paperwork for us?
We prepare everything you need: course outlines, trainer profiles, attendance records, and properly formatted e-invoices. The actual grant application must be submitted by an authorised representative from your organisation through the HRD Corp portal — only employers can submit on their own behalf. We're here to make your submission as straightforward as possible.
